I did editing duty on this vid, but the story/concept belongs to girlguidejones. I've never attempted to translate someone else's vision before and I certainly wouldn't have done it for anyone I adored less :) I'm crap at collaborations, but we got it done *and* done in time to submit as a premiere for winchestercon, which I consider to be something of a miracle (a miracle aided by the fact that they extended their submission deadline, heh)!

Pumpkin pies, Club Vivid was awesome and stuff! I flitted around the edges of VVC earlier today, not quite ready to start barging up to people and introducing myself but knowing I'd have to get over it eventually. And tonight I did indeed get over it (hello, gin!) and it was a great time with too many great vids to count.

This was submitted as a premiering vid for Vividcon next month...but the Premieres show is full, and I opted *not* to have this go to the overflow show (Nearly New) because I'd already submitted another vid for that and didn't want to bump it. Soooooo, long story short -- here it is now instead!

What's there to say about Moulin Rouge? If you've seen it, then you probably already are quite sure whether you love or hate it, overstuffed pinata of a movie that it is. I have the big love for its special brand of crack, and this was an off-the-cuff vid idea (conceived while driving long distances over Memorial Day weekend and listening to music) that led to a purely enjoyable whirlwind vidding experience. I wish more of my vids went this way.
